Best DVM in the County. Reasonable and compassionate. The address changed, he retired but came back and reopened on Route 41/Florida Avenue, one 1/2 mile past the Withlacoochee bridge headed South into Citrus County. A little past The Front Porch restaurant and on the same side of 41/S.

On Monday January 18, 2021, I went to Dr. Fox’s office to either buy or get a monthly prescription for German Shepherd dog. The medicine I wanted to get was the Heartgard Chewable. My dog has been under Dr. Matthew Fox care for the past three years, the last time my dog was there was for yearly shots on Feb 25, 2020. When I went to the office, I talked to a receptionist name Adriane, she told me I couldn’t get a prescription nor could I buy the heartgard for my dog because the Vet had not seen my dog for more than a year.. I explained that I just wanted to get or buy from them the medicine, she refused to sell it to me or give me the written prescription, btw Chewy Pharmacy had contacted them for a refill authorization and Dr Fox office never approved it. I went ahead and made an appointment for March but told Adrianne that I needed at least 2 chewable tablets until my dog saw Dr Fox, she assured me that she was going to call me to provide me with the two tablets but I never heard from them. The receptionist was rude and uncaring for my dog’s needs. I am very disappointed to find out that someone that works with animals can be so uncaring. Dr Fox deserves better caring staff. He is a very caring an professional Vet.
