Services We are a full service animal hospital.

Vaccinations & Wellness

Routine exams are the MOST important part of your pet's annual healthcare. Exams and vaccinations are designed to extend your pet's healthy lifespan and cover everything from a dental exam to a parasite check and review of heartworm and flea preventatives. These exams also help to prevent disease transmission to you! We utilize 3 year vaccinations when possible to make sure your pet is not being over vaccinated.

Surgery

Our surgical suite provides for the performance of a wide variety of surgical procedures. These range from spay and neuter to tumor removal, soft tissue surgery and some orthopedic procedures. All patients undergo pre-anesthetic blood screening and an examination to ensure they are a good candidate for surgery as well as to make sure anesthetics used will be safe. All patients will have an IV catheter and fluids to ensure safety during surgery. Heart rate, heart rhythm, oxygen levels and temperature are all monitored during surgery.

Dentistry

Regular professional cleaning is important to maintaining your pet's teeth. Our dental services include teeth cleaning and polishing, tooth extractions and minor oral surgery. We use OraVet dental sealant to ensure your pets’ beautiful smile lasts long after cleaning. We also offer a wide range of home dental care products.

Radiology

Our on-site, X-ray equipment provides high quality radiographs to aid in the diagnosis of many disorders. We routinely do OFA Hips and OFA Elbows.

Dietary Counseling

We provide guidance regarding your pet’s nutritional needs for each life stage, including dietary requirements for growth, weight maintenance and performance. We feed and recommend Purina Veterinary products.

Microchipping

Microchips have helped reunite thousands of pets with their families. We offer the most widely used microchip products to increase the chances of a safe recovery. The danger of a missing pet is multiplied on the Gulf Coast during Hurricane Season.

Diagnostic and Therapeutic

Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pets’ complete health care needs. We cover all areas of diagnostics including Dermatology, Gastroenterology, Cardiology and Neurology. Therapeutic services include Pain Management, Weight Management and Senior Health Services.

In House Laboratory

Our in-house laboratory facilities provide for serum chemistry, hematology, serology, cytology, urinalysis and parasite testing. We also utilize commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultations. We have a CBC Vet Autoreader in addition to IDEXX serum chemistry and electrolyte machines to maximize the speed in which results are received and therefore speed treatment.
