Not impressed. Cat tried to flee surprise dog, went running on slippery floor and badly strained or tore one hind leg. Dr. Balmforth quickly wrapped up the whole leg in a softer kind of cast that was still pretty stiff, i.e. inhibited flexing & movement for 2+ weeks. One thing I know, that cast did not help my cat's injury at all and in fact probably made it worse.

I can not recommend Dr. Balmforth. I'm not wiling to go into detail here. He recently treated an injured pet of mine. To sum up, Balmforth is a mediocre veterinarian at best. Not incompetent, but definitely avoid if possible.
