I was a patient of Dr. Bigler for many years as were other members of my family. I stopped going to Dr. Bigler several years ago when I realized that his exam and manipulation was becoming very inappropriate. Instead of touching me on the outside of my clothing as he always had, he began putting his hands under my clothing and underwear as he performed his exam. The first time I was shocked but he continued as if nothing was unusual and I thought maybe I imagined it . The second time it happened I realized it was very deliberate and absolutely inappropriate. He even asked me if I felt he had been inappropriate because some other clients had complained. Because we were alone in the exam room I said that I certainly hoped it was a necessary part of treatment but I never went back.
Dr Bigler left this practice for awhile due to his health so I thought perhaps he was out of the field and others were safe, but then he returned. This experience has deeply affected me for many years and although I have told others I never filed a formal complaint or charge because I wasn't sure I would be believed. Now that Dr. Bigler is back in practice, I feel it is imperative that I warn other women. Dr. Bigler has a very mild and gentle manner and is the father of several daughters so this very unexpected and humiliating sexual behavior seemed out of character, yet he continued his predatory behavior towards me and apparently others. I hope all that those who he admitted had complained will step forward and share their experience. My experience happened several years ago but the abuse by Dr.Bigler has not been forgotten. With the recent outpouring of women who have spoken out and experienced such abuse, I feel I must speak up for the sake of all.

I had severe lower back pain when I was pregnant with my 5th child. I believe it was a flare-up from a tailbone injury in my teens. My husband took me to Dr. Biglar who worked on me in a way I'd never experienced before, no bone popping, no x-rays. As I left I wondered how that would fix me. A couple days later, my husband asked me how my pain was, and I was surprised to say, "Oh wow! It's totally gone!" Now I am a believer! Whenever I have pain, I see him. And he's not one of those guys who says you have to see him once a week for the rest of your life to feel good!!
