After several months working with Phyliss I discontinued. Rattled, traumatized and reeling from steadily being pummeled with insults, horrible things said about my daughter who died last year, being told repeatedly that I’m an inadequate human being, being interrogated about and demanding answers for things that have nothing to do with therapy, no answers were accepted. . Phyllis was always late for our telephone appointments. Sometimes she’d call when there was no appointment scheduled, yet I was constantly grilled to explain to her why my communication skills are so poor accused of having very poor. Our last session consisted of phyliss demanding that I file lawsuit against USPS, because she only takes checks, I have a broken leg, and mail carriers do not pick up out going mail here where I live. Then I was commanded to go upstairs to find a house checkbook knowing fully well that.I can’t scale stairs with a broken leg. 5 minutes of interrogation followed about why I refuse to scale stairs. Then Demanding that I get online with Medicare to her work for her. Which yielded nothing because Medicare won’t give provider information to patient/clients.Medicare told me to tell my therapist to follow normal Medicare procedure. Phyllis: “I can’t be bothered with that.” Then a demand that wire $500.02 into her bank account, none of which she intended to report to Medicare. Phyliss have become privy yo sensitive information about a previous therapist that she wove into every session: gender Identification, personal tragedies, and harsh, judgments about the fellow therapists’ character flaws. Phyllis Tainey is traumatizing, terrifying, insulting, accusatory, demeaning and cruel. It’s my opinion that she is in no way fit to practice.
