I was in therapy with Dr. Stadter. At first I trusted him. But then I revealed that my father had molested me as a child and very young adult (18). He insisted that I was somewhat culpable in what had happened to me, and that I should have done a better job of protecting myself. It took some time in the hands of an extremely competent therapist to undo the damage not only of what my father had done, but that of someone I had then looked to as a healer or a helper had actually made worse. I'd give him negative stars if I could.
