My son, Malcolm Melton , was his patient. As a mother, I prayed that my son's medical conditions, being born as a pre-term baby ,would just go away , however , having this visit really helped me to understand how to better live with a child with mental disabilities. Dr. Pye is the sweetest psychologist that I have ever encountered . He listened to my concerns as a mother , as he presented to me several diagnosis' that my child has . I could tell by his voice that he knew that I was crying in the inside as he called out each diagnosis , but , as a Social worker myself , I had to hold back a lot of tears. Malcolm has always allowed me to talk for him, but not at this appointment. Dr. Pye spoke in a language , both professional and personal (comical) that made my son feel very comfortable talking to him . Malcolm talked more that day than I have ever heard him talk in years. My oldest college daughter was present . She has plans to , possibly become a psychiatrist. On our way back home, she too talked about how nice , professional , and engaging Dr. Pye was. Keep up the good work , Dr. Pye . Both you and your staff deserves ten stars ,not five .

I AM A VIETNAM WAR VET,I SEEN THIS DR FOR A COMP AND PENSION EXAM FOR THE VA,I HAVE NEVER BEEN TREATED WITH MORE RESPECT THAN THIS DR,DR PYE HAS MY UPMOST RESPECT AS A WAR VET AND AS A HUMAN BEING,I WAS NOT TREATED LIKE A DOG,LIKE THE GAINSVILLE FLA COMP AND PENSION BOARD,YOU ARE JUST A NUMBER AT THE GAINSVILLE FLA COMP AND PENSION.I SAW THIS DR ON 2/6/2015.WHAT A GREAT AMERICAN THIS DR. IS.WALTER,HE ALSO TREATED MY WIFE WITH GREAT RESPECT.WHAT A WONDERFUL DR PYE IS.TY SIR.
