Merriam Park Psychological Services (MPPS) provides a safe comfortable environment for those with counseling and mental health needs. Services provided include assessment, treatment, and referral for individuals with a wide range of needs and concerns. Clients are as varied and unique as the treatment plans that are developed with them to improve the quality of their lives. Although the approaches that are used with each individual are unique to their life circumstances, their needs and values, a similar thread runs through the treatment of all clients. Specifically, at MPPS there is value in making our work with each individual client obsolete. To do so requires a certain amount of transparency about the therapy process, what it is and how and why it works. Providing education, structure and support to learn and begin using new tools is a vital part of the work, but would not be possible without a positive therapeutic relationship built upon respect, honesty, and realistic optimism. Although some exceptions are made for individuals with more chronic needs, for most clients a relatively brief episode of therapy provides them with new ways to thing about and respond to old problems and results in greater life satisfaction.
Alison Maule-Kronmiller, Ph.D., L.P. and David Kronmiller, M.A. ,L.P. founded Merriam Park Psychological Services (MPPS) after purchasing two older homes in a centrally located neighborhood of the twin cities. The homes have been rezoned and converted to office space and house a variety of practitioners that focus on health and wellness.

It's not th at I felt like she didn't care, but every time I left there I felt so unsure of myself, filled with self-doubt. Even now, I feel like, should I be writing this? Or maybe I was just doing something wrong.

The appointment far exceeded any preconceived ideas I had about how it would go. It was great. Their office was extremely easy to locate. I found it within seconds. I would see them over anyone else in the field. They are definitely an expert.
When comparing them to others I have visited for the same condition, they are among the best I have seen.
