I am a clinical social worker with over 20yrs experience in both inpatient and outpatient mental health settings. I work with adolescents and adults. I opened my clinical private practice in 2000 in New Jersey and relocated my practice to Horry County SC in 2011. I provide supportive client centered counseling to help empower individuals couples and families to make positive changes in their lives. We will work together to explore the obstacles which get in the way of achieving your personal goals and thus overcome the adversity in your life. We will work on developing healthier coping skills and strategies to effectively deal with the stressors in your life which bring you to counseling. I use a solution focused, strengths based,mindfulness cognitive behavioral therapy approach to work with many mental health issue.

My practice is open weekdays from 9am thru 7pm and some Saturdays as needed. All appointments are scheduled by calling my office at 843-488-5001. Please leave a voice message if I am not available. I will call you back promptly to do a phone interview. Clinical sessions are 50 minutes and an initial assessment will take place on the first session. I do take most insurance and will verify your benefits upon scheduling an appointment. I also see clients without insurance. I look forward to working with you and recognize that it takes courage and motivation to enter into counseling. I will work with you to help you live a healthier life.
