Dr. Driver is a bit of an oddball. He doesn't gently encourage you to move beyond your comfort zone. He shoves you past it, and then laughingly tells you this is what you wanted. Wanting to do something is not the same as being able and ready. He should respect those boundaries and not shame you for not moving as fast as he would like.
