Rating scales: Which assess the presence or frequency of certain behaviors. Self-Report scales: The patient is often asked to rate the presence or frequency of their own behavior. Observations: Psychologists can gather important information by directly observing what a patient is doing and how others in the setting interact with him or her. Interviews: Direct face to face interviews provide valuable information in the evaluation process and interviews with other professional involved in the case often provide helpful information to accurately diagnose what the issues are. Comprehensive Evaluation report: Diagnosis, therapy, referral and treatment recommendations are provided in a detailed written report which brings together and integrates in a compelling manner all the information from the above described evaluation procedures.
