I saw Ms. Henderson for about a year. When I began, I had a specific issue with which she was very helpful. Once that was resolved, however, and we began to discuss more general, longstanding challenges, things started to occur that were not what I would have expected and were not helpful. I felt that she struggled to stay awake sometimes and often cut the last several minutes off my session - which I noticed because I always got my phone right away to schedule a next appointment. The main reason I wanted to write this review, however, is that on a couple of occasions she said things to me that were really upsetting to me. At first I though it may have been part of the process of therapy, but I've been assured by other professionals that it's not appropriate. I have no idea why she said those things, but it seems like, having been my therapist for a year or so, she should have known how upsetting it would be.

I appreciated the initial progress but, in the end, lost trust and stopped going.
