Cornerstone Counseling Center was established in 1968 as one of the earliest treatment centers in Utah. It has been a leader in focusing treatment on all family members, recognizing that domestic violence, substance abuse and other mental health disorders affect everyone in the family. In addition, Cornerstone Counseling Center is committed to reaching families who would otherwise not be able to afford treatment. Many of these families face barriers to treatment that include limited access to transportation, lack of support from extended family (especially in the care of young children), parents who are facing legal issues related to their substance abuse, and a history of financial trouble.

Cornerstone Counseling Center provides counseling, therapy and support to families impacted by addiction to alcohol and other drugs, and/or involved with domestic violence. The purpose of Cornerstone Counseling Center is to reduce the impact of substance abuse and mental health disorders to facilitate lifelong improvements in the well being of individuals and families, thereby building a safer community.Cornerstone Counseling Center was established in 1968 as one of the earliest treatment centers in Utah.
