Dr. Correa is a Board Certified Psychiatrist who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of mental illness, which include Affective Disorders (Depression, BiPolar I & II), Anxiety Spectrum, PTSD, OCD, Schizophrenia and Alzheimers. Dr. Correa provides treatment for adults, as well as, children, whom are at least 6 years old. Dr. Correa's residency and fellowship was at Johns Hopkins Hospital from 1977-1981. From 1984-1991, she was Medical Director of the Acute Psychiatric Unit at Johns Hopkins Bayview. From 1991-1994, Dr. Correa was the Medical Director of ECT at Johns Hopkins Hospital. From 2000-2005, Dr. Correa was Outpatient Medical Director at Franklin Square Hospital. Dr. Correa has participated in several published articles. Dr. Correa has been the Medical Director of Chesapeake Behavioral Health Center since 2005.
