Elizabeth Braunstein is a con. She lies constantly and cannot be trusted. She will not tell you if a job is not within her area of expertise. To my knowledge she does not turn away any work, even if Braunstein is very clearly not qualified to do the job. She is not concerned with anybody but herself, and has become very financially focused since her husband died a few years back, and Braunstein's OCD about money kicked into overdrive while her client complaints have gone way up, and shes been reported to the Board of Psychology of the State of California at least a few times. I believe she's still under review by them also. Her peers state that she's a phony and fraud, shouldn't that tell you something?

Incredibly rude and unprofessional - does very poor work and is not respected in her field. She lacks mental faculties and tends to lump everything into the easiest bucket or diagnosis without doing due diligence. As a custody evaluator she is a nightmare -- doesn't review anything in terms of documents or evidence and will tell you outright not to bother showing her. If you hire her, you'll end up with massive regrets and if it involves custody it will easily derail any semblance of rational, logic recommendation. Plus, she never shuts up about her son when she's supposed to be doing a job you're paying her for. Amazed she's had a license to practice this long.
