This therapist did not treat me as an equal partner in my recovery and treatment. At the end when I was well enough to decrease my visits, he suggested decreasing by 25%, and when I was adjusted to that idea, he suddenly demanded that I decrease my visits by 50%. This was completely unexpected and when he pulled the rug out from under my feet it didn't seem to matter to him whether or not I was able to keep my emotional footing. He forced his agenda on me more than once, and did not seem to listen when I asserted that things are more than I can handle.

I've been meeting with this therapist for 3 years and getting help from him has been the best thing that ever happened to me as far as therapeutic relationships go. He is excellent in his skills as a mental health professional. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is serious about finding healing and emotional well being.
