I have been seeing Dr. Hollebeek for almost a year now. I trust him, and I feel safe talking to him about things I would never state outside of his office. He listens to me, and most importantly, he believes me and believes in me. Whether he realizes it or not, he has kept me afloat over this past year, and in some ways has kept me alive. Life seemed too dismal for me to keep on living when I first met him. It seemed hopeless. Slowly, I am learning new ways to deal with very old pains and learning how to uncover the person that has been hiding inside me most of my life. My doctor is kind and caring, yet demanding that I follow through and do what I have to, no matter how difficult, in order to come out a better person on the other side.
