My wife and I brought our elder son to Dr. Shoemaker when she was located in Harrisburg. She was GREAT. About a year later we brought our younger son to her. They both had allergies to foods and chemicals. She helped us get a grip on the problems and provided the direction to cure them. They've both been doing well ever since. Our younger son has a tendency to crave unhealthy treats, and over does it when not closely monitored. Thanks to Dr. Shoemaker, we know what to look for and how to get him back on track.
Although we've not been to see her for some time, due to our health being good, we recommend her highly whenever we speak about the health of our kids, natural remedies or prescription meds.

Every time I come here they always remember me by name and greet me as soon as I walk in the door, even if it's been months since my last appointment. Dr. Jess has helped me with numerous concerns way more than MDs who just want to throw drugs at you. Dr. Jess educates so that your health is in your own hands - right where it should be instead of masking symptoms with drugs. I feel safe in her care. My calls are answered promptly here. I am never put on hold for a long time and know that if I have a quick question I won't have to wait a half hour through terrible music to get it answered. Every time I had a concern, or if I called to ask a question, the staff made me feel important.
