Sharon Werner graduated from Saint Joseph College with a B.S. in Nutrition and Dietietics , and completed an internship at Connecticut Childrens. Her experience includes pediatric and adult weight management, and diabetes education. As a Certified Diabetes Educator she offers Diabetes Self-Management Education/Training. She is a certified insulin pump trainer for both the Animas Touch Touch Ping and Insulet's OmniPod.
Sharon also has a special interest in bone diseases, particularly Osteogenesis Imperfecta and is the founder and leader of the CT and Western Massachusetts Osteogenesis Imperfecta Support Group.

Just as a side note, this business is really conveniently located and is close to everything. It is right off and freeway and close to all kinds of shops. I was able to do my shopping for the week right after my appointment. They were so kind and attentive to me. I didn't have to worry about them arguing with me, or contradicting what I had to say, which has been a problem for me at other places. I didn't feel confined at all by the food plan they created for me. I had plenty of variety, and was able to eat tasty foods.

I had to prod information from her,she did answer my questions but I felt she gave the minimum information, She was not available, I left a message but she never returned call....She billed the insurance incorrectly (Maybe that's why she dropped me)!
I would have loved to hear more. She didn't seem too happy to be helping me. Never called me back to schedule my 2nd appointment.
