To All Of My Friends and Neighbors, As You Know, I almost lost my 31 yr old son at s local hospital here in Tallahassee , Florida. He had a severe blood disease, (MERCER) which left him with some heart damage, and some kidney failure that was fully functioning when he was discharged a week later. He had Just turned 31. I would say that day I left my body standing with the great support of my 30 yr old son Jon, and my Older Brother Rick....... To Both Of You, Thank You, That seems minimal, but I am aware of how You also felt watching through the glass as they inserted him with A tube through his main artery in his neck, his blood pressure if I remember it correctly was about 68 over 28. I Never Got To also Thank The Trauma Center team at Tallahassee Community Hospital, Who Never stopped working on him, trying to bring him back from the brink of death, To all The Staff, Nurses Doctors, and Tech's Thank You All so very much, Not only did You get him through the scary first few hrs, You also Let Us stay right there with him , informing us all the way, AMAZING, that is not even the best way to describe how Greatful as His Mom , That I am,and How You kept me in the loop.of everything going on at the same time........I am hoping and praying,that No One ever, ever has to get that close to loosing a Child.....I am still in shock, as so many things went wrong this month so many good things also came from it.....God is powerful that way,He gave my son another chance*to Live or die*, what the doctors told him , if he made it , A last chance, to stay healthy,Remember Please as I thank All of You...............Lori Dawn
