This was he worse place to be forced to go. The food was leftovers and there were huge waterbugs in the bathroom to try to avoid at night. The staff was rude and condescending. There were two doctors on staff that only wanted to force drugs on everyone till they were walking around like zoobies. If you disagreed with what they said they either upped your meds or would keep you two extra days (if your insurance was good). I said my husband was getting a lawyer to get me the hell out of here and the doctor just grinned and said it wouldn't do any good because he could keep me as long as he wanted (he was on a power trip). At the treatment mall they told us it was just a distraction, that it wasn't really there to help people. They saw you once and said they could cure you with just one pill. Again he was on some kind of power trip. One nurse said inappropriate remarks to several patiences and when we complained another nurse said he said things to them that wasn't right either. Why would they keep a nurse where a little knowledge of what not to say is required. I looked up the doctors online after I was released and both had below par rating so I assume they have to work where people have no other choice but to see them, no one said they would suggest anyone to go to them. The only thing this did to me was make me distrust any health worker ever again and it has given me nightmares to deal with now. I can see where this is not a mental hospital anyone would ask to go, you are forced to go against your will and make you feel violated and below them in every way.
