I went to Kauffman Eye Care because I was experiencing eye strain while reading. They prescribed me a very low prescription for reading glasses. I spent over $400 on the glasses. I didn't feel like they were doing much for me, so I made an appointment with an ophthalmologist to make sure that something more serious was not going on. The ophthalmologist said I needed a higher prescription and wrote me a script to bring back to Kauffman Eye Care. When I went back, they said that because I didn't come back within 30 days (It has been 2 months) they could not replace my lenses. Of course, I was not told this when I originally purchased my glasses from them. So, they charged me full price to replace the lenses in a pair of glasses that should have had a higher prescription to begin with. I am sure this happens to many people and I will not trust Kauffman Eye Care of my future eye care needs
