I have been going to Dr. Dorton for years ... he is so very good with my babies and seems to remember them when he comes into the room getting each ones name right ... I have 3, yet he never gets conf used and yes I do bring them all at the same time because he offers a discount for that ... his pricing is reasonable and I have to say that in the 7 years that I have been going there I don't think that he ever raised his prices. I just today dropped off my puppy for a procedure and they offered a laser treatment that will help the wound heal more quickly and it will be less painful also with reduced swelling ... I thought that this treatment would be super expensive ... but it was only an added $25 ... the Staff is great I have never had a problem ... and I have to say I am that pet parent that panics and they always answer my question .... and take the time to make me feel more comfortable with what it is or will take to make sure my babies are healthy! I thank Dr. Dorton and his staff for their dedication to their patients ...it is refreshing to see that everyone there loves what they are doing!
They have a large parking lot. I took my puppy to him when others could not accurately diagnose the problem (and he solved it). However, I did not begin routine visits with him solely because he is nearly 45 minutes away. However, when my now 7 year old dog developed a new problem, I returned to him and again he was dead on. She is healed and doing wonderfully. I am now going to make him her primary care doctor because he is worth the 45 minute drive. He is patient and listens. He is gentle and caring with the animals. I recommended him to a friend and she is switching to him also.
