Our kitty, Clues, had suspected intestinal cancer, tumor was pretty good size. Treated with prednisone after first visit and he came around and was eating again, diarrhea stopped, gained a pound. I was overjoyed. Took for B12 shot etc., then 4 weeks later he stopped eating again and couldn't use the litter box. Took him back to vet. Saw Dr Frank Davis, who is so kind and gentle with Clues and us. It was time to let him go as he would probably starve. It was so very very hard to make that decision. Dr. Davis was so gentle in explaining what would happen. Clues did not even try to put up a fight. He must have known it was time. Dr Davis was so kind and considerate to our feelings and our Clues and gave us all the time we needed. We now only have 7 cats, but will continue to trust their care to Karns Animal Clinic. Thanks to all the staff for being so caring.
Took our cat, which is very stressful on him and us. The vet and assistant were great with him and us. The vet was nice to our cat and us and explained things to us and didn't try to talk down to us and we appreciate that. The cost of care was reasonable compared to most and we have 8 cats to consider so that is important to us also. My cat gets sick when he travels so it is really hard to bring him and really stresses him out and us, but his vet told us something we could do help him from getting sick on his trip to the vet. That was nice of her. Will try it on our next visit.
