After my dog Sam had been treated with pain meds and steroids, unsuccessfully for flare ups for a chipped vertebrae, I was soooo fortunate to find Dr. Susan and made the decision to drive the 1.5 hours each way to take him there. I had to carry Sam in (all 65 pounds of him) and after some therapy, some acupuncture and an hour or so, he not only walked out on his own, he jumped up on his hind legs to say hello to the receptionist! Several months later (his back was still doing great which was miraculous), I got a notification from Sam's local vet that his vaccines were overdue. By 5 the next morning, I found Sam lying behind the couch, barely alive. I rushed him to Simpsonville and I didn't know if he'd make it. Turns out, he'd had a horrible reaction to the toxins in the vaccines and wasn't doing very well at all. After about 2 hours of treatment, he again walked out of her office on his own and thrived. I didn't realize how toxic vaccines could be, nor did I realize it's actually terrible for the health of your pets to get vaccines annually! They have titers that last for years, just like humans do. After that, I never took him anywhere else until I moved to Canada with him. He'd have died if it hadn't been for Dr. Susan.
