Dr. Bachrach cared for my 15 year old adopted Bassett Hound with corneal edema while he was in foster care. I called him after we adopted him to ask a few questions about his condition and treatme nt. While Dr. Bachrach would have loved to see Kobe, he understood that we lived on the coast near NH and it would be a VERY long drive to bring a 15 year old dog that has subsequently been diagnosed with cancer. He did not hesitate to spend time talking with me and giving me wonderful information and advice...all free of charge at 6pm on a Friday. His vet tech that answered the phone when I called was also very supportive, thoughtful, caring and knowledgeable. Since I never actually visited his office, I can't say anything about the environment but I can say that I was very impressed with Dr. Bachrach and his staff. He really cares about these animals.
Dr. Bachrach is a an expert in his specialty. He is a very kind and compassionate veterinary ophthalmologist. He is one of the most knowledgeable doctors in his field. He takes time to review each an imal and all their problems before he evaluates them. His equipment and use of it are state of the art. I am so glad Dr. Baldarelli sent us to him for our dog. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone who needs a veterinary ophthalmologist.
