They go out of their way to make everyone feel equally respected and cared for. They are friendly and genuinely care about the well being of my horses even though I know they specialize in breeding and foaling for a lot of clients with a lot more money than I have. They are always up front about what they think the horses need and never try to add on services that aren't necessary or requested. They know my horses by name and what I do with them and their health histories and special needs. One of my horses is young and inexperienced and Dr. Conover is patient and kind to hime (and every horse I've seen her around.) When the county fair vet was unreachable for an emergency, Pheasant Ridge came to the rescue after hours. Dr. Conover did a beautiful job of stitching up a tricky ear laceration right there in the county fair stall. I highly recommend them.
