My son got a DUI in Washington State. He was not driving but behind the wheel of his car with the keys in the ignition. Years later, North Carolina, his resident state suspended his license, driving on suspended license, they required in conjunction with the Washington Alcohol assessment and counseling and a driving blow mechanical thing on his car for 6 months.. I personally drove him to counseling. Completing the court order counseling he mailed his copy to the court. Fast Forward 5 years later, he finds out that PRI sent the record to Washington but not NC. The judge called it stupid and dismissed it but the DMV requires PRI to send in the document showing completion. They refuse and stated he would have to take the class again for the second state and pay all the fees all over again. She director stated he would have to take two classes simultaneously y to get two documents mailed to each state. She is nasty and speaks so condescending. If she would only look at the order she would know it was in conjunction. with the two states. He is not allowed to look at his records although he paid all the fess in full! Time for a lawyer! Its a system that holds you down. He has a clean record and cannot get his license restore without paying a second time! What a scam! They lack compassion and speaks so hateful and condescending and without reason. If there is a court order dismissing the driving on suspended licenses calling the PRI move "Ludacris:" then why cant she just mail the certificate to the proper NC DMV so he can move on with his life. Its been years and he took their shallow class and they got their money.. This mom is calling an attorney!
