Rose is helping me with the grief of losing my young son to suicide. He was my world, and I could never imagine my life without him in it.
Rose is doing well at picking up every single shattered piece of my heart and gradually placing each one back in its rightful place. She’s very compassionate, understanding, professional, and knowledgeable.
A person mentioned her tiny Pomeranian named Copper. He’s very sweet, he greets you and lays right down in his little bed. Please don’t take his presence as a negative. He’s very gentle and I personally enjoy his company.
Rose is a Christian, and I find solace in her many areas of knowledge. If you’re searching for a good therapist, you will be blessed to know Rose English. She’s is conveniently located near Memorial and North MacArthur.

I went to her on my first visit in 2018. When I first arrived I noticed that she had a small dog with her, could have been a therapy dog but it turned out to actually be her pet. No big deal I like animals. The room was a bit warm and muggy, once again no big deal if that was the only thing of concern I can make it work. In addition to the humid temperature of the room, I noticed she also had on a long sleeve shirt with a long sleeve turtleneck under it. I just thought with her being an older lady maybe she got cold easily. At the end of the session she asked me something along the lines of if I agree to meet again. My only concern was the warm temperature in the room (especially if you have anxiety/panic attacks with hot flashes this could be a little rough). Empathy being part of who I am, I asked her if she got cold easily, mentioning her long sleeve shirt, hoping to lead into the room temperature. Her demeanor instantly changed. She immediately went off on me saying that she can wear whatever she wants. When I finally realized that she completely misunderstood what I was saying and how defensive she became I attempted to explain about the room temperature, however, she just kept cutting me off. Then she said that I was only there for an hour and she is there all day so she will set the temperature at whatever she likes. I’m pretty mellow so I just sit there quietly. She asked me again if I had any reason not to see her again. And to be honest I didn’t until all this happened. Seeing the look in her face, I took a moment to think. Before I could respond, she said something like, God has blessed her with a successful business whether I’m interested in returning to not. However, still being a little shocked by all this and seeing that the look on her face hadn’t changed I decided I just needed to get out of there, so I told her yes I will come back. Immediately her demeanor change back to what it was when I first arrived.
Being my first experience ever with a Therapist I began to think maybe I did something wrong or perhaps she was just having a bad day, it happens. So I decided to give it another shot. I’m a slow learner when it comes to people. On the way to the appointment I got stranded in traffic, they literally completely closed down the interstate because of an accident. I texted her before the appointment to let her know I was stuck in traffic. No reply. By the time our appointment time was suppose to start I texted her again to let her know I’m still stuck in traffic, thinking she should be free. No reply. As I realized that I was not going to be able to make it to the appointment I texted her again to let her know that I was sorry but we would have to reschedule. No. reply. Over a day later. Still no reply. A counselor that cant even communicate.
Researching a little bit online Rose English out of over 50 counselors is not even rated average, in fact she is in the bottom 20%. Spend your time and money with a therapist that actually cares not just about your money.
