I joined the center on Wildflower about a week ago, have worked out at the center four times now. I'm very disappointed, but it's the option that works best right now. I'll ride out my year contract. The place is filthy and all equipment is either broken or simply worn out. I used to be a member of Planet Fitness in Amarillo. It was $20 a month for two people, hundreds of machines, unlimited tanning, hydro massage beds, massage chairs. Planet Fitness - open up a location in Bryan and close down this rip-off!!

The Villa Maria location has went down hill since I joined in 2010. Their staff use to be friendly now they seem understaffed, yet the employees they do have stand around and talk, and didn't go out of their way to make me feel welcome. I felt like my needs were mostly met, but they didn't make any extra effort. Zumba is so crowded you can not move or breathe. Everything seems much dirtier than it use to be. You have to pay extra for the upstairs locker rooms that have the hot tubs and saunas yet no one monitors them so everyone uses them. On several occasions I have been changing only to have a boy of school age come in with him mom to the womens locker room. The gym is a family gym and does provide day care and you can do a good work out I am just very disappointed in the change from a year ago until now. And if you have asthma I do not suggest trying the 7 oclock Zumba class.
