I went to Roper to have surgery to correct an implant and replace another. I'm not sure why but Roper ending up giving me one implant for free. The problem with that is simple.
Where did the free implant come from????? I ended up with a mycobacteria and lost my breast to infection after 20 years of surviving breast cancer.I would like to see an implant log and roper is refusing to tell me anything about the implants. What are they hiding? My insurance was paying 100% at this point so there was no need to just give me an implant. Come on Roper your Patient Representative, Karen tell me you don't keep track of implant inventory. I am now at Risk Management with Faye. Still no answers. Look for my blog soon on Patient Safety and transparency at Roper. I would never visit them again except to try again to get my records. oh and a copy before you changed them.
