I was VERY upset with this er experience I had on Easter Sunday 2016. I walked into the emergency department with the fear I was going into sepsis shock!!! I had a bladder infection for undetermined amount of time prior to my visit. My doctor by God's grace did a urine test (not routine) and found the said infection. I went to the er expecting a long wait as is usually the case and came prepared with things to do while I waited to be seen. I was originally the first person in the door. I had been running a low grade fever (normal for me is 97.6) I was chilled to my core but was flushed in my face. My blood pressure was elevated. I had pain in my abdomen and the reason I went into the er was because of these symptoms. I made mention I was concerned about sepsis. I was treated as if I was unable to make my own assumptions about my own health. I was given a paper stating "IF" I had any of these above stated symptoms I should return to er. I will NEVER use this hospital again unless there is more training for staff. They need to treat EVERYONE INDIVIDUALLY! No assumptions should be made by anyone and conversations should be about patients and not income.
