All medical care aspects were well handled, but the billing set up is deceptive. You are told that billing is by surgical procedure and is multiplicative (was just under $10,000 per procedure), but they make no effort to let you know the definition of surgical procedure is minute and what is clearly one surgery for you may actually be two, three, four or more surgical procedure each adding $10,000 to the bill. You could easily go in expecting a $10,000 billing (followed by all the random insurance aspects) and instead come out with a billing of $30,000 or more.
