Dr Ferber's Animal Hospital

For more than 25 years, Dr. Jay Ferber and his highly trained staff have provided compassionate care to thousands of South Florida residents and their pets.

Dr. Ferber first opened Sunshine Animal Hospital in Hollywood, Fla. in 1986. As the population in western Broward County grew, he expanded with a second office. Dr. Ferber's Animal Hospital in western Pembroke Pines opened in 1995.

We provide a wide range of services, including wellness and preventative medicine, critical care, surgery, radiography, dentistry, and laboratory diagnostic.

We treat dogs, cats, birds, small mammals (such as mice, guinea pigs and hamsters), reptiles and other exotic animals.

Dr. Ferber is the only vet I trust. He is very qualified, has years of experience, and unlike other vets, Dr. Ferber takes his time with each patient and answers all your questions. He gives you peace of mind and you will leave knowing that your pet is in good hands. Highly Recommended.

I was so impressed with the progress I was able to make after visiting them. All my questions were answered, and I feel a lot more confident and hopeful about the future. They were so kind and attentive to me. I didn't have to worry about them arguing with me, or contradicting what I had to say, which has been a problem for me at other places. This veterinarian is so great about sending reminders for pets annual exams and thanks to them I have never forgotten once.

He/she would never do that! Their full attention is always on me.
