Dr. Fortson is the best, I 1st went there back in 2001 was with my 13 yr old cat that Iadored. He had just been diagnosed with having a thyroid problem by my original vet at All Cats Clinic, Dr. Fortstpn did some test and said that “Sam” needed to be seen at Auburn Veterinary School for Oncology. Dr. F, being an Auburn Alumni made a call to Auburn and managed to get Sam an appt. (this place is always booked and is really hard to get an appt. especially a walk-in for a new patient). Once there they diagnosed my Sam as having Lymphnoid Carcinoma which they would have to give him radiation treatments 2x a week for an unknown period of time. Amyways this was in June and by Sept. Sams cancer had progressed to a much higher dose of radiation, that might prolong his life another 6 months. So I agreed, and during this time, i became pregnant and by Feb 2002, I had to put my Sam down. Dr. Fortstpn didn’t even charge me for that service. I was losing a special part of my family , while gaining another special gift. Sam was there for me when my dad committed suicide, and I feel he hung in there until I was blessed with a child that I’m a way was taking his place. All this would not have been possible if I had never went to see Dr. Fortston so many years ago. I will not go anywhere else. The new staff is just as wonderful, Dr. Newborge and staff saved my Patches when she got heart worms at 6 yrs led. She is now 13 yrs old. Dr. M treated her ear infection ( I had very little money). Amand he found some antibiotics that had just recently expired and it did the trick, Thanks so much for keeping me informed on every aspect of all her treatment and pymt plan at a difficult time for me financially. They really do love animals and will even call to check on animal a few days after a minor issue. My daughter is now wanting to be a Specialized Veterinarian for her future career choice. It’s amazing that I feel this story has now come full circle, with the way things have turned out today and I owe it to all the staff old and new at Crawford Road Animal Hospital. Thank You Again ,

My pet hates going to the vet so I was very relieved that I was allowed to stay with my pet throughout the appointment. They really make an effort to make sure that the pets are comfortable and happy at all times, which in turn makes me very happy as well. The staff really knows what they're doing, and they know a lot about the company they work for. They're able to answer most of my questions, and the only ones they don't are the ones they need their boss's approval for. As far as boarding facilities go this is one of the better ones that I have seen and I feel confident that the staff takes great care of my pets.They try to make pets feel as safe and comfortable as possible. I am going to refer everyone I know here. I absolutely love this place. I knew I was getting top-of-the-line treatment when they told me about what they learned at the latest conference they attended, and how they were incorporating that knowledge into the practice.
