This company should be SHUT DOWN!! I got 2 CPAP machines through them due to my insurance. I had to use Apria they said. Both times they sent me hidden fees months after I received the machine. The first time it was 4 months later. They were billing me every month after I received the machine for something they never told me about. Supposedly, I was not using the machine enough each month, so they charge a fee for that. I travel a lot for work and did not take the machine with me on the trips, so of course I did not make the time. Why didn't they tell me this ... and why did they wait for 4 months to send me a bill. I could have remedied this easily had they sent me a bill monthly like every one else does. Of course, they could have told me this up front when I got the machine, but they wanted the money! The second time I received a machine, they waited 10 months to send me a bill ... for something their billing department in the Philippines could not tell me what the bill was for. They barely speak English, so you can't understand them in the first place, but then they will never let you speak to a supervisor! They say it is company policy and then hung up on me. These people are unscrupulous/untrustworthy/CROOKS!!! STAY AWAY!! THEY SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN!!

We recently moved to the South Park area. Before we made our final decision on this home we called Apria since my boyfriend has only one lung, along with a whole host of other medical problems to make sure the serviced the area. Was told several times that yes they did! They told us that we would have to move all of the oxygen tanks and oxygen concentrator ourselves? Alrighty! The day before we moved, we called to again notify them and double check we were allowed to move it. Answer was "Yes because if we move it, we will charge you." Huh?? A couple months after our move, we are concerned with power outages and wanted to make sure he had enough tanks and hoses. Call Apria, "we'll get that right out to you." Week goes by, no oxygen, but received the hoses. Call again, "Sure we'll get that right out to you." Few days later, get a phone call from them, "we'll be there in 1-3 days." After 3 days no show and it's Friday, I called yesterday, it's Monday, I hear, "It's scheduled we'll get it out to you tomorrow." Another call from the scheduling department. "We can give you this kind of tank, but we don't service your area. I'll call back." Late afternoon, no call back. I called, played their automated merry-go-round only to find someone telling me, "we don't service that area, and if there's a problem with his equipment we won't take care of it. Saying that, you will be charged for having it because it's an insurance issue." So after them knowing for several months where we were moving, promising BOTH MYSELF AND MY BOYFRIEND, this wouldn't be an issue, it IS an issue! They say they (conviently) have no record of the original conversation. They decided they would not charge us, after me confronting them, but they still refuse service!!! So they are leaving my boyfriend in a life threatening situation and their response was, "Sorry we didn't catch this sooner." AVOID APRIA AT ALL COSTS!!!!!
