In 101 years there have only been three owners - all respected residents of the Zebulon community who have all invested their lives in this special store. And in 101 years Zebulon Drug has grown.
Tad and Lou Anne Adams bought Zebulon Drug Company in 1986. Zebulon Drug's gift division, Sycamore Crossing, expanded into its new facility in 1996. In 2002 Wendell Drug opened it's doors and in 2006 Bunn Drug was founded. Growth in our part of North Carolina is booming - new roads, new neighborhoods, new folks and lots of huge boxy chain pharmacies on every corner.
Some drug stores feature expensive buildings in the middle of town, aisles piled high with anything from dog food to lawn chairs. You may find that having a prescription filled at one of these stores takes hours or even days.
