Usually I have my prescriptions filled at the Albertson's Savon pharmacy at Cochran and Sycamore, so maybe they've spoiled me with such amazing service. I came to the Costco pharmacy because I had to shop there anyway and I didn't want to take 2 trips. Both of my kids were cranky w/ ear infections. First of all, the pharmacy didn't have enough amoxicillin to fill both kids' prescriptions, which surprised me, because that's the most commonly prescribed antibiotic. I decided to have 1 filled anyway. It took them 30 minutes to fill it, and then, when I finally got to the front of the line long to pick up, I was told that they had to mix it (which of course begged the question of what they'd been doing during the last 30 minutes). So I had to wait there for like 10 minutes with my sick baby crying bloody murder while they mixed it. When they were finally done and the staff member handed me the bad with my prescriptions in it, I asked if there was a dropper. (At Albertson's, they always include a dropper and will even give me an extra one for free if I ask.) She said that no, I had to buy it separately. Would have been nice if she had mentioned this before I had checked out and lost my place in line. In the end, I still had to go to the Albertson's pharmacy the next day to get the other prescription filled. Wish I had just gone there to begin with!
