There definitely appears to be a trend of overbooking clients here. Often, I sit with my pet in the exam room well past my scheduled appointment time, which isn't always convenient for me. Once she does get to me, she does seem to competent in handling the exam and any concerns I may ask about, usually explains things well and answers all my questions. She is gentle with the animal throughout the visit; but with her staff, not so much! On several trips, I've heard her her speak harshly (or worse, YELL) at them - seemingly undeserved, in my opinion. One time when they had to draw blood for a test, the tech was called in to hold my dog; Dr. Adams stopped short with the needle and angrily yanked the girl's hand away, asking 'who on earth taught you restraint skills?!' (or something to that effect), as she not so gently repositioned the poor girl's grip. The tech smiled at me as Dr. Adams got the blood sample, but you could tell she was dying of embarrassment and I felt bad for her. The employees have always been helpful and nice to me but the boss needs some people skills towards her crew. Dr. Adams has a good reputation around town, and her office is close to home/work for me (important factor) - that's what made me chose her clinic, and the price of services are pretty fair, she cares for my dog well - so I've stuck with her despite the appointment experience being somewhat uncomfortable for ME at times
