I have a male cat who tends to hide when we have company. A few years ago my husband and I were having Thanksgiving at our house and we needed to make room for other cars in the driveway. we didn't know our cat was hiding under the hood of his truck and was cut by the fan motor blades when my husband started it. I called the vet at home on Thanksgiving Day and he met me at his office in 20 minutes!
