When my first kitty was very ill and needed to be put to sleep (he passed on his own just before our appointment for euthanization) I searched for a vet that would come to my home instead of having to take my kitty to the clinic for the procedure. I wanted to avoid the stress and trauma on my kitty of being moved to the clinic. The staff at Animal Medical Center were the most caring and understanding veterinary staff I have ever encountered — I've worked with many in my years of pet ownership. Not only are they just amazing at taking care of the pets AND their owners, their prices are the best I've seen.

I recently needed to put my second kitty down — She was 15 and had been suffering from a number of things. It was such a hard decision and the staff at Animal Medical Center on Crow River helped me to think through it and make the best decision for the wellbeing of my kitty. Again, nothing short of amazing people. I can't say enough about them. Dr. Angie Ladwig and Kim were so kind and caring with my kitty and me — hugs for everyone on this sad day.

Following the cremation of both of my kitties after their passing I received very sweet, personally written sympathy cards from the staff. My kitties' ashes also came back in very pretty, carved wooden boxes. All this for for such reasonable prices.

If you're in Hutchinson, MN or surrounding area and are looking for a fantastic veterinary clinic Animal Medical Center on Crow River is the place to go.

Recently our Dog Bludo had fallen very ill and I had talked to them about getting an X-Ray being that I was concerned about his appetite wondering if he had maybe had something lodged in his stomach. They were the first clinic I could get a hold of that had an X-Ray machine in the area. We had already had some blood work done at another clinic so we knew where his levels where with the possibility that he was diabetic while having simultaneous pancreatic problems that were fighting" each-other" for a lack of better words. They informed us that it would be O.K. to bring Bludo in as soon as we could without an appointment. We brought the blood work we had from the first Vet a week prior for comparison and dropped him off letting them know it was fine to do what ever was needed. We went out to run some errands since he didn't have an appointment and they were nice enough to fit him in. Not long after Dr. Ladwig had called us back informing us that although it could be done, an X-Ray wasn't necessary as she could immediately tell from the blood work that he was indeed diabetic. We immediately started a diet and insulin regimen for Blu and we could tell almost overnight that he was feeling better. I cannot say enough about how kind the people are that work there calling from time to time just to see how he was feeling. I honestly believe that the quality of life that Bludo had at the end were better do to the care and love that they gave him along with us. Looking back I cannot thank them enough for there honesty and compassion not only for Blu, but us as well. Bludo had a great life and it would have been wrong to keep him around for us at the end but when the time came they even stayed around late so we could say our goodbyes in a private room with him. Dr. Ladwig even said some special words about him joining with the angels as he peaceful took his last breath in our arms. Shortly after we received a card in the mail along with a "Doggy Angel" pin that now sits with his belongings and remains on the mantel. They even took care of the final arrangements with the cremation service and when we went to pick him up the other day his remains were even in a beautiful wooden urn box to sit next to the one we had waiting for him. I cannot say enough good things about this clinic and each and every person that works there. Not that one thinks about it at the time but besides being second to none in the quality of care and love they gave Bludo, they provided the most reasonably priced services I or anybody I have talked to have ever heard of. Thank You to Everybody there from the bottom of our hearts. R.I.P. Bludo..........
