About

Becky Shelton, DVM

Mobile practice limited to dogs and cats only. Hours Mon -Wed and Fri 8 am to 4 pm. Closed Thur and Sun. Fri 8 am to 4 pm . We work by scheduled appointments only. Services offered include wellness exams, vaccinations, pediatric spays and neuters, on-site bloodwork, wound care, allergy testing, etc. Feel free to call about specific needs you may have. The mobile clinic includes a dedicated surgical suite with sevoflurane gas anesthesia and heart rate/blood oxygenation monitor. Post surgical pain management is always included in every surgical procedure. Common procedures include things such as physicals, heartworm tests, fecal exams, etc. If X-rays are required, we work with many of the other local vets to meet this need. If an animal is too sick to be treated on an out-patient basis, you will be referred to a local colleague for this care. I welcome any questions you may have about this service. Please feel free to call if you think I may be able to help you. Practice area includes all of Hall County, South Lumpkin County, and limited areas of White County. I have over 17 years experience in veterinary medicine, the last 13 of which have been mobile. The one most important thing I can tell you about myself is that I will always treat your pet just as if it were my own and I will never pretend to have all the "answers" for every problem. You can count on me telling you the truth { I can't abide liars}. If I can not solve your pets problem there are excellent specialists in the area we can turn to. I do this job because I love animals and I always strive to make a positive difference in their lives. Because they can not talk I have learned to listen very carefully. I would consider it a privilege to care for your pets.
