We have been using Banfield for a few years now, this particular branch is horrible. And it is the only Banfield in town! The receptionists are not friendly at all, they do not great you, they do not smile period. They give you a vibe that they don't want to speak/deal with their customers. My dog didn't feel well, because he is under their wellness plan, I took him to the Banfield for a walk-in. The previous Banfield hospitals we have visited, all offer this walk-in service, that is one of the biggest reasons why we stay with this company. But this branch, you gotta make an appointment for a walk-in. I asked the receptionist why I can't do a walk-in like the other branches, she said every store is different, and she did not care about my dog at all. I would clearly go to a different store, but this is the only location in augusta, so I'm cancelling the wellness plan, I will not keep paying high dollars for a service I will not get.
They were so informative, and thoroughly answered every single question I had regarding pet care. I left feeling like I really learned a lot. They have some of the best customer service I have ever seen. Putting their customers first is definitely a priority here and it shows. The examining rooms at Banfield The Pet Hospital's office were immaculate. You could practically eat of the floor if you wanted to. There were no bad smells and everything seemed really sterile. They keep the restrooms well-stocked here, and not just with the basics. There is mouthwash, lotion and other amenities. You can tell they want their clients to be as comfortable as possible.
