Dear Hospice of Palm Beach County,

On behalf of the immediate family of Melvin Cook, we want to express our gratitude for the exceptional care provided to our son, father, brother, uncle, and grandfather during his time at Palm Gardens Medical Center. The program has provided us with a sense of location and peace of mind, especially when home care was not feasible due to palliative needs.

Melvin, facing multiple medical challenges, spent his last days under your compassionate care. It's important to note that while he was once a husband, his separation from his wife of over 5 years meant that his care fell upon us, his immediate family. Unfortunately, the involvement of his estranged wife in the process has made an already difficult situation even more distressing. Her actions have unnecessarily limited access to Melvin from his elderly parents and others, causing undue stress and discomfort.

In light of these circumstances, we urge Hospice of Palm Beach County to ensure that the program continues to uphold dignity and respect for all friends and families involved. Your support has been invaluable during this trying time, and we appreciate your continued dedication to providing compassionate care to those in need.
