I've been seeing Dr. Acox off & on for the past several years. Before my first visit to his office, I was very skeptical of chiropractic care in general. I had really bad pain the back of my head (base of skull) & was also having some neurological issues. I had been having this difficulty for 6 months & had gone to traditional Dr.'s / neurologist / P.T -- with no success. A friend recommended Dr. Acox, & I trusted her - so went. It took several sessions, but he was able to help me & the pain & neurological symptoms completely vanished after a few of weeks. I see him on & off on occasion when things are bothering me -- rather than going to a medical Dr. It has always helped & never hurt me. I totally trust him & would much rather spend $50 getting an adjustment & see if it works for what is ailing me -- before going to a Dr. who will most likely run tests / labwork / write scripts & charge at least twice as much. Traditional medicine has it's place & is needed -- but so does chiropractic care. I felt especially frustrated that no one in the traditional medical community even mentioned the possibility that I could have been helped by chiropractic care when I had my head/neck issues. Example: Medical Dr's put me on a NSAID to stop swelling/pain in my neck & it ended up bothering my stomach/digestive system. When I started having adjustments -- Dr. Acox simply told me to ice the area for 20 minutes & that relieved the pain as well as the NSAID & left no unwanted side effects. Chiropractic care will always be my first line of defense now if something is happening in my body. Don't be afraid to try it :)

Their staff is the most friendly, welcoming staff I've ever dealt with. They are so warm and professional, and make the whole experience that much better. The one thing that I really enjoy about this place is their high level of customer service. Their full attention is always on me and they never take personal calls during my appointment.There was lots of available parking at their office.
