This salon is great! When I called on the phone I asked if they were ok with long hair, as some salons can't wait to chop your hair off, and she said yes, and asked what I wanted and I told her long layers and face framing, and she immediately recommended Ashley because she is good at it. And she is really good at it! I told her what I wanted and she did exactly that. She asked my opinion on the details as she went, and answered all of my questions about methods and treatment, as well as her giving her honest opinions (!) on what looks good on me along the way. And watching her work, I could tell she knew what she was doing even as she was cutting the ends straight across before the layering. She used techniques I've never seen before to give my hair a natural, healthy look that doesn't look like I just came out of a salon or even recently got my hair cut, although it was a completely new style. She also didn't pack my hair with a lot of gunk, and I left the salon with beautiful flowing hair. If you have long hair or want layers, go to Ashley. I've never had a better haircut in my life, and I have been in salons all over the country. A tip: she cuts hair dry because dry hair lays differently than wet hair, so go in with dry hair if you aren't having it washed. I paid $28 and it is well worth it. I'll never worry about a bad haircut again!
