I wish there was an option for half a star, or a quarter of a star, in fact an eighth of a star would be nice. Let me tell you before I start: This happened yesterday, so I am still livid about having short hair (as I said specifically to NOT CUT MY HAIR SHORT).

I was told that Regis (the owner) could cut curly hair and would put in some fun colored highlights. That was a flat out lie. When I went in, they weren't very welcoming (HELLO RED FLAG). I brought a picture with me that matched my hair type and said specifically, "I don't want to lose length, I want the framing in the picture." I told them I wanted my highlights touched up and to add in some pink and blue highlights underneath that could be hidden. That was like pulling teeth to get, "You won't be happy with them. They'll fade." If I say what I want, don't tell me I won't be happy with it. Because apparently you don't understand what the client wants as will be illustrated in a few minutes. And I did want them, that was the ENTIRE reason I went there! I was told they would do them for me!

(If you're thinking about going here DON'T! Run the OTHER way! RUN AWAY!!!)

They started work on the highlights- turns out Regis doesn't do the color his wife does-I was a little nervous because she looked somewhat lost while doing the foils. While some of the foils were sitting, she came over with a comb and started to comb my hair and said, "Oh I'm putting in a treatment..." WHAT!?!?! DO NOT put stuff in my hair that's a "treatment" without talking to me first! But, it was too late....After my hair was washed Regis came to cut my hair, he started in the back, so I couldn't see what was happening, and then he turned my chair so I couldn't see what he was doing to my hair. A little while later, behold he took off around 5-6" and my hair was no longer long, and it was above my shoulders. I don't know how my statement of, "I'm growing my hair out, I don't want to lose any length! I lost 3" before somewhere else and it killed me." Translated into , "CUT IT ALL OFF!" Needless to say, I started to cry.

His wife knew I was upset, but didn't do anything except to say, "I know you didn't want to lose any length..." THANKS! That's great! How's that going to help me now that I have a bob!

At checkout I told him how unhappy I was (he styled it awful too! I looked like a dandelion head! He took a straight blow dryer onto my hair and just made it a fluffy mess! I looked AWFUL! This is by far the WORST haircut EVER! Seriously, it was the biggest mess I have ever seen.) I was crying and he said, "I only took off an inch." Uhm no, you didn't my hair was mid back and now it's above my shoulders. He said to me, "What do you want me to do about it?" And I flat out said, "I'm NOT paying for this! I can't believe you did this to me! This is the worst haircut I have ever seen!"

DO NOT GO HERE!!! They're rude and they WILL botch your haircut. You WILL have to go somewhere else to get the mess fixed. They aren't good at highlights either. Worst haircut experience of my life! TURN THE OTHER WAY! Let me be your warning sign and pay heed to this: DO NOT GO HERE! DO NOT GO HERE! DO NOT GO HERE! They need to lose their licenses!
