I am someone who believe in spending my money with black owned businesses. I use to shop at Dee's Beauty Supplies until most recent. I decided to do my homework and researched other beauty supply stores in the area that offered the type of hair I use when getting my hair braided. And NO I do not use the girls in Dee's store to braid my hair, they are at best slightly below average. My research proved that Dee charges $5 more on her products than the other beauty supply stores. When I approached her with my findings from other beauty supply stores, she got indignant with me; so I told her she doesn't have to worry about me shopping with her anymore. Although, this experience with Dee is disheartening because I chose to spend my money with my own kind but my own kind has been getting over on me and charging me more money then other business owners of a different race. Dee can't be trusted!

I would never recommend them to anyone. They were terrible. Their staff was somewhat friendly, but they didn't go out of their way to make me feel welcome. I ended up spending quite a bit for my visit. They were very expensive. If I couldn't find anyone better, I'd return again, but I'm hoping I can find better service somewhere else. They didn't help me as much as I was hoping and didn't answer all my questions.

The lighting is bad and they only want to sell products not give you a good review of what your getting
