About

Maureen Gallagher, PhD

My name is Maureen Gallagher, and I am a Licensed Psychologist and Psychotherapist with offices in Midtown Manhattan and Montclair, New Jersey.

My main focus is on establishing a partnership with my clients. As a team, we can work together to resolve issues and eliminate depression, anxiety, panic and trauma.

Because of the challenges in modern-day life, many people are having difficulty developing and maintaining strong, healthy relationships.

By looking at family-of-origin issues, problems with self-esteem, negative patterns and communication issues, you can feel better about yourself and interact much more effectively with others.

They explained all the risks and benefits of my treatment options. Everything was explained in detail, all my questions were answered, and I felt a lot better about choosing a treatment plan. They've never used foul language, which has bothered me at some of the other places I've been too. They always make an extra effort to be polite and courteous. Every time I go, they always remember me and go out of their way to make me feel important. They made the extra effort to make sure every question and concern I had was addressed. Not only were they the best psychologist I've ever seen, I think they were the best health provider I've ever seen. They make everyone else look like they just started practicing yesterday.
