The staff is very friendly and for the most part pretty attentive. The nurses are wonderful; but it is obvious that they are short-staffed. I have to say that I was not pleased with the fact that whenever I visited my father; he was in his chair in the common area with the other residents. I understand that he was not supposed to be restrained in his bed or chair in his room; but being in the common area most of the time was not what we were told would be his main existence. We were told that there would be activities and rehabilitation filling up most of his days. It was two weeks before the on call doctor evaluated my father. The meal menus were not as healthy as I would hope. One menu consisted of a hamburger and chips. Another one was a roll and ravioli. We were expecting more veggies and fruit. I had decided that after his twenty days of rehabilitation that he was coming back home.
